Biography
Oh! Sullivan Vicki Michael

I knew I was to be involved in art at an early age, probably 5 years old. My favorite subject in school was finger painting. I was a wiz at crayons and scissors. Four years of art in high school and a scholarship to Art Center School of Design in LA cemented my commitment to the world of art. Rio Hondo College taught me jewelry making and ceramics, the two fields that were to support me for life.

I love drawing and design with the most important elements being that of composition, asymmetrical balance and color. I practiced many fields of endeavor, painting with watercolors, oils, and acrylics. I experimented with printmaking, weaving, gold and silver jewelry, glass bead making and finally ceramics. The field of ceramics has held my attention and captured my imagination for almost 35 years.

It was inevitable that my current line of jewelry evolved as it has. Please enjoy reviewing my, one of a kind porcelain and silver jewelry pieces. As well as my line of hand painted ceramic tile art and porcelain sculpture.
