For fifteen years or more Vicki has been working with porcelain designing and making sea sculptures, wall art, perfume bottles and jewelry in this same manner. Each piece of work is made of hand rolled porcelain clay, highly textured with hand crochet lace designs. For the fish sculptures, this look captures the look of scales. The fish are truly one-of-a-kind, hollow and very light weight. Each piece has been kiln fired 4 times; the last firing is a 22k gold luster firing. Wall sculptures are wired and ready to hang. The sitting fish have felt tabs on the bottom side to prevent table scratching. Most of the colors used are bright and intense however pastels work their way in as well. Clean and handle as you would fine china.
